A corner of your house and funny

A corner of my house. I call it the cat corner it's where all the cats come around for a snack at night so I rarely get to see them.

Funny
This is Buddy the dog. He is funny. He likes to eat tomatoes from the garden and gum balls from trees. He is also a very jealous dog he does NOT like for me to visit my other neighbors dog TIp tip and pepper the toy poodles that live on the other side of my house. Buddy knows he's my favorite

Today was perfect weather. I did some crafting outside. Here's part of my wreath and my sunglasses.

Car

Car

This is the inside of Sue Bea my subaru forrester.  I love her, I do, but she doesn't have a working clock.  Sometimes it works if I've been driving on a really bumpy road for a little while, but it always goes back off.  I've found it to be difficult to drive a car where the clock doesn't work.  I think it makes me want to know the time all the more, because it's not flashing in front of me.  I know that I could just look at my watch that I normally wear or even my cell for the time, but it's just not the same as looking at the clock that's supposed to be working.    I've decided that the next car I get it is mandatory that it has a functioning clock.

On another note, today was pancake day!  If you don't live in Concord and don't know what pancake day is I feel bad for you.  Your life is just not complete without it!  On the 3rd Thursday of March the Boy's and Girl's club has Pancake day.  I think it's my favorite day of the year, maybe second to my birthday.  This pancake day was special because I went twice!  I had a lovely breakfast with my mom this morning.  Then I took my BFFL, Christine, to pancake day for lunch and we ate pancakes with my BFF, Rachel.  Christine has heard me talk about pancake day for years because we were college roommates at UNCW and every pancake day it's all I talked about because I couldn't be there.  The pancakes at Pancake day are just so good.  I can't describe to you why they are so good, but they are very much the best pancakes I've ever eaten.    

Clouds

Today I waited too long to take my picture so all the clouds were gone.  I'll try again tomorrow but here's the cloudless sunset today

 But my tulips are looking quite good!  I just love having them!

A sign of spring! These are in my yard and are totally beautiful! I'm really excited about these tulips because we have a few but they never bloom :(. A couples of weekends ago we found some tulips and the little daffodil on sale at Wal Mart and of course I had to have them. Hopefully they will do well in this part of the yard. At least they are pretty now.
Oh I also got my birchbox yesterday and it was packed with some awesome stuff (like usual) like this fancy glitter nail polish. I love love love how shiny it is.

Loud

Loud is when my dad watches the Tar Heels!  No doubt Harrison Barnes the Black Falcon was swooping down on the wolfpack.  

Red

I have some red lipstick but I'm terrified of actually wearing it. But since today was red for the March photo a day I put it in :). I couldn't find any good lighting to take the picture, oh well.  If I do ever decide to make it out of the house with my red lips I won't be wearing teal eye shadow to go with it.

Something you wore and window

I got a little behind in the March photo a day.  I'm apparently no good at doing these kinds of things on a daily basis.  So here's two day's photos.
Something I wore (Wednesday)

Dirt.  I planted about 80 gladiolus so I had to dig a lot of holes! It was pretty hard but I think it will be well worth this summer when I have tons of gladiolus in the yard.  They are my favorite flowers ever!

Window (Today)
Today was windows down kind of weather.

While me and my dad were planting some more today (7 lily plants, 4 new azaleas bushes, 6 cabbage plants, and 9 califlower plants) I broke through some serious roots with my shovel and I was greatly impressed by it :)

A smile-a doggy smile

Today I had a lazy day with the best best friend anyone could ask for which made me smile. But the pictures is of Cooper the day we went to the park while I was house sitting. I think he looks to be smiling.

Your Neighborhood

Day 3 and I'm still posting a picture.  Yay me!  Hopefully I can actually continue and finish this photo a day.  Something big was going down in my neighborhood today.  I'm not sure what it was but there were quite a few cars.

So I've decided to try another photo challenge.  Hopefully this on will go better than the last one.  It's from fat mum slim it's march photo a day.  Since it's March 1 here's my first picture.

I made some glitter lanterns for Rachel's bridal shower and put them on the ceiling.  They are still there and when I look up I can see them!  :)

Okay so I started this photo challenge a long long time ago, but I got busy, but now I'm back!  I figured I start where I left off.  So here's day 11.

Today I'm making Salted Chocolate Caramel Clusters.  I'll post again about how they turn out.  I'm still working on them at the moment.  Day 12 will come tomorrow!

I went to a fashion show tonight.  It was fun.  I saw some of my high school teachers there.  Good times!

Day 9. A photo of something from a distance

 Day 9.  A photo of something from a distance.  Fall leaves from a far.  All our leaves, here at home, aren't changing except at the very tops of the trees.  Which are far away.

This weekend my dad finally pickled the jalapenos from our garden.  He's been talking about it FOREVER.  So today was the day!  Here's the cans before.  He ended up having too much so he had to go buy more jars again.  This happened when he and my mom canned chow chow this summer too.  

 

They look really pretty because some of the pepper green and some were red.  

 I did some crafts this weekend to decorate for halloween.  I made a small pumpkin quite special yesterday afternoon with jewels!  I love it!

 I also started (still not finished) a sign for the door for Halloween.  End the end it will say boo.  For some reason I set them this way when I sprayed them with gloss.  Then I realized it and made it say boo instead, but I had already taken the pictures.

Day 8.  A photo of something close up.  I like taking pictures of things close up so I have a few of them.  First we have several flowers blooming outside now so I took some of them.  And since it is fall I wanted to find a pretty leaf somewhere.

I came home and saw these two giant grass hoppers having some sort of intimate moment of the pumpkin I craved Sunday.  Naturally I had to take a picture since they were there and posing so nice.
