A time to celebrate with a kitten in a bow tie!
Well dang! I've had 5000 views on my blog. That's insane! Especially since I haven't posted anything in a long time. I thought that I would definitely post again when I got 5000 views, so as a celebration I would like to share with you a kitten in a bow tie. This is Tigger, and she's not too happy to be wearing a bow tie, but gosh she's cute!

30x30 Challenge
I didn't get my post in last week. I was too busy. But I'm happy to say that I have some new outfits to share. I'm also linking up with Lauren at From My Grey Desk blog
Here's my outfits. I tried using kind of a theme for my outfit and that was my crops. Which actually if I unfolded them would almost be long enough to wear as pants. Yes, I have super short legs, haha! Which is even more obvious when I stand next to my 6 foot tall BFFL :)
I love this cardigan from Target probably because it has a hood. I kind of love wearing the hood and being ridiculous and playing with the the edges of the cardigan.
I like this outfit because it looks kind of put together. And I do love teal!
See how fun it is to play with that target cardigan!

Crock Pot Roast
A couple of months ago me and a friend threw Rachel a bridal shower, and as part of the fun we made her a recipe book with recipes from the people that were invited. I thought the recipe book was such a cute idea and it let everyone involved (even if they couldn't attend) give Rachel something special. One of the recipes we got was for pot roast in the crock pot. After the wedding when Rachel and Brad came home from their honeymoon I wanted to have something special for them to come home to and what's better than a home cooked meal! So I made this pot roast and both Brad and Rachel said it was so yummy! It was super easy to make and it had some ingredient that I wasn't expecting like coke and chili sauce. So I wanted to share the recipe because it is so good!
Crock Pot Roast
1 package French onion soup mix
A can of chili sauce
A can of coke
Rump roast
Baby carrots
Sunrise potatoes
1 medium onion
Directions: Mix 1 package of french onion soup mix, can of chili sauce, and a can of coke in a bowl. Place rump roast on the bottom of the crock pot. Add baby carrots and sunrise potatoes and then pour the mixture of soup on top. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 4 hours (the longer you cook it, the more tender the meat).
It is totally delish and super easy to make.

30x30 Challenge: Week 4
New outfits yay! I'm linking up with Lauren at From My Grey Desk again. So I went over to my BFFL's, Christine, apartment last week and asked if we could have a photo shoot so I could get pictures of my outfits. Her wonderful boyfriend, Adam, agreed to take the picture so here's my shout out to him. Thanks Adam! I also had to change some of my items. One shirt apparently shrank because when I put it on it was a half shirt! Totally not attractive haha! I also turned out to be allergic to one of my necklace so I replace it with the necklace in the first picture. Next week I'll have the shirt I switched out.

Happy Friday!
I hope you've had a great week! Mine has been pretty good here's a few of the highlights for my high five for Friday!
1. Check out those tomatoes! We have so many from the garden we're giving them away. Mmmm they are yummy!
2. I think I've finally made friends with that cat that has decided to live here. I named her Shade and he kitten Smoke. They are too cute! However, they are not very tame, but I'm winning them over. Shade lets me pet her without growling at me anymore. I didn't know cats growl, but it turns out they do. She's apparently also been making friends with Sue Bea my car. I found these this morning.
3. I learned how to cross stitch on Sunday and I finished my little penguin guy last night. I think he's cute.
4. Did some chemistry this week. The experiments aren't really making any sense at the moment but I had a color change so I took a picture!
5. Last but most definitely not least tonight I get to hang out with my BFFL! Yay! Yeah we're cool!

30 x 30 Challege: New Outfits
The weather people on TV say there's going to be a cool down this week. Please let that be true! Maybe then I'll attempt to do my hair! Hopefully that means better pictures next week! Here's my next couple of outfits.
I'm not sure about this combo, but I love the back of this shirt!
This was my 4th of July dress! I didn't have the white and the blue, but I like the red dress!
These shoes are part of my 30, but man I do love them!
Like a whole bunch. Sometimes I just wear them around the house just because! Okay, and I might have them same shoe in 2 other colors. What can I say I have a weakness!
I think this week I'm going to find the challenge a bit more challenging since I've used my "normal" outfits now. I'm looking forward to putting together different things!

Update to my desk redo
A few weeks ago I decided that I needed to redo my desk. I wasn't ever (I do mean ever) using it as a desk, more like a big white shelf to pile junk on.
I'm not too proud of this, but doesn't look better now?! And I'm very happy to say that I've been using it everyday now that I've made it into my vanity. The "I can do anything with the right shoes" probably won't stay there but it's there for now.
I decided to make the bulletin board look prettier by covering it in lace. And I found out that not only am I a terrible cutter I can't measure either. My piece of lace didn't quite cover the bulletin board too well at first. And I had a few bottles to use to decorate the top shelf. I got a really pretty blue vase from hobby lobby and painted a wine bottle of my own.
They are missing a little something I haven't figure out what it is yet.
My make is a little bit more organized now.
I think my love sign is my favorite! It was 50 % off at Hobby Lobby! (Yes!)
I also glittered all my makeup containers. I'm a bit glitter obsessed, but that's okay. I like them alot.
Overall, I love what I did to my desk.
